Had a great dream this morning, I was dreaming and found myself in a very high building, I went over to look out the window, if I see a window in a dream I usually have the irristible urge to jump out usually the act of jumping out and flying causes me to become lucid, then I go from a lucid dream to the astral. This window was incredibly high and the view over the city was incredible. Unfortunately there were bars on the window and I couldn't get out. My dream characters often try to stop me jumping out windows as they think I'll die lol. Must be parts of me that resist me jumping into alternative realities. I went to find a window that was more 'user-friendly'.
So then I found myself flying along the road I used to walk up to go to college and back, a lovely avenue of trees it was a real pleasure walking to and from college every day. I was just about to go flying but first I had to go to the top of this kind of open bus but it wasn't really a bus but a kind of very high, mobile market stall. It was a bit wobbly and I didn't think it was a good idea so I climbed down to change to another one.
The mobile market stall was selling crystal objects like vases hence the decision to change over in case the vases were broken. As I got to the bottom one of the vases fell the stall holder managed to catch it, she had it in her hands yet a second later she let it fall on purpose. I felt a bit guilty as it could have been my fault but then she had caught it and then let it go again. They were covered for breakages anyway so there was no problem. I took off and was flying and dancing gracefully in the air along the avenue of trees on the home journey, accompanied by an old song by Chris De Burgh 'Counting On You'.
Incredible in dreams and in the astral I always know all of the words. I came to the sea and in front of me were a row of people, male and female, different ages, they represented my relatives. It felt as if each one had their own song. I turned to one in particular, he was a bit grumpy, I told him that he would have to change his song to a happy one and so I started singing a mix between Altered Images 'I Could Be Happy' and Pharrel Williams 'Happy'.
I was dancing and throwing somersaults over the sea, felt so good! Then I woke up feeling good.
A lot of work I've done in dreams and in OBEs has been concerned with a kind of gathering of selves, of other identities, a kind of unifying to bring together the whole me, maybe that was part of my purpose in coming here to sort myself out in the global sense, a kind of troubleshooter. The first song would certainly suggest that. When I was in front of the row of people in the last part of the dream I certainly got the sense that they were all related to me in some way.
The crystal vase was broken on purpose, maybe the splitting into different identities but it was ok because it was covered, it was insured. And the grumpy old man at the end had to change his song to feel the joy of life within, from I could be happy to Happy! Don't you just love how clever dreams are.
